Corrections Policy
Reports about calculations, content, or accessibility are reproduced, corrected, tested, and recorded before the updated page is published.
How to report an issue
Email the tool name or page URL, the observed result, what you expected, and the steps that produced the issue. Include the browser, device, selected policy, or timezone when relevant. Use substitute dates whenever possible instead of sharing private information.
Triage and priority
Reports are classified by impact and reach. Incorrect calculations, exposed information, dangerous claims, broken primary flows, inaccessible controls, and invalid legal or privacy disclosures receive the highest attention. Confusing wording and visual defects follow. Cosmetic preferences are considered after correctness and access.
Reproduction and diagnosis
The team reproduces the issue with a fixed clock, normalized inputs, and the same selected policy. Related tools are checked to learn whether the defect belongs to one page, a shared calculation engine, a source table, or the presentation layer. If a report cannot be reproduced, the page is not changed merely to make the ticket disappear.
Fix and verification
A calculation defect becomes a failing regression example before the shared logic is corrected. The fix is checked against surrounding edge cases and rendered in the supported responsive layouts. Source or policy corrections are compared with the current primary reference and reviewed for every affected page.
How corrections are communicated
A material page or source review date is updated when the correction changes the published information. Small spelling and presentation fixes may be released without a separate public notice. If a defect could have influenced a high-consequence decision, the limitation is clarified prominently and users are directed to the appropriate authority.
Disagreements and policy differences
Two results can differ because organizations apply different leap-day, cutoff, inclusion, month-end, timezone, or rounding rules. When the calculator correctly follows its displayed rule, the response should explain the difference rather than silently change the formula to match one institution.
Privacy during investigation
Real names, dates, documents, medical information, and account details are not needed for most investigations. Reports should use minimal data, and exported examples should be checked before sharing because they may contain information the user chose to include.
