Separate the dates you know from the rates you estimate
The Life Stats Calculator turns elapsed age into exact calendar facts and assumption-based everyday estimates. Birth and reference dates determine completed age, days, weeks, months, hours by date-only conversion, and calendar context. Sleep, heartbeats, and steps depend on rates that vary across a lifetime, so their inputs remain editable and their labels always say estimated.
Add a birth time and timezone to see a live days, hours, minutes, and seconds clock when the reference date is today in that zone. Leave the time blank for date-only totals. This precision gate avoids inventing a birth instant from midnight.
Choose the dates and any optional estimates
- Enter the full birth date and keep today as reference for a current snapshot, or choose another date for history.
- Optionally add the known birth time and timezone to enable a true live elapsed clock.
- Adjust average sleep hours, heart rate, and daily steps to explore assumptions rather than accepting the defaults as facts.
- Calculate and read exact metrics separately from estimates before copying, printing, or downloading the result.
The live clock has a stricter input contract
Date-only age is exact at the calendar-day level. A live clock needs the actual local birth time and its timezone to locate an instant. It appears only when those inputs are supplied and the reference date is today in that selected zone; a historical reference remains a static snapshot.
The live count updates on screen but does not rewrite the assumption-based estimates every second, which would imply precision they do not have.
Heartbeats, sleep, and steps are scenarios
An average of 70 beats per minute is not a personal lifetime measurement. Sleep patterns, activity, illness, childhood, training, and devices all change the rates. Edit the controls to compare scenarios and keep the chosen rates with any export.
What this page refuses to predict
Life stats do not estimate a death date, life expectancy, fitness, disease, calories, or future health. A high or low scenario total has no clinical meaning by itself. Use appropriate medical advice and verified device records for health decisions.
The calculation stays in the browser; consider whether a shared image should display a full birth date.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about elapsed totals, optional estimates, birth-time precision, health limits, and privacy.
Which life statistics are exact?
Calendar age, elapsed dates, days, and derived fixed-unit totals follow the entered dates. They remain date-only unless a birth time is supplied.
Which results are estimates?
Sleep, heartbeats, steps, and related totals multiply elapsed time by the editable average rates shown in the form.
How do I enable the live age counter?
Enter a birth time and timezone and use today's reference date in that zone. The result then counts elapsed time every second.
Are estimated heartbeats a medical measurement?
No. They are a simple scenario from one average rate and cannot represent a lifetime record or health assessment.
Does this calculator predict life expectancy?
No. It measures time already elapsed and optional rate scenarios; it does not estimate how long anyone will live.
Are my date and assumptions uploaded?
The calculation runs in the browser. Saving or sharing an export is optional and under your control.
